Unattended Automated Gas Meter Testing Laboratory for Guangzhou Institute of Energy Testing

Meijie delivered the complete unattended gas meter testing laboratory solution, testing equipment, automation system integration, control and commissioning software, and on-site integration and commissioning.

Challenge

The project required gas meter transfer, automatic verification, test-data monitoring, packing, and palletizing to operate as one connected laboratory workflow.

Solution

Meijie supplied the complete laboratory solution and testing equipment, and completed the integration, control and commissioning software, and on-site commissioning for externally procured standard automation components such as the robots. The gas meters are test samples and are not part of Meijie’s supply scope.

Result

The customer’s site video shows that the automated gas meter testing laboratory has been completed and put into operation.
